This is the end of the prologue of my comic in progress called Aetherius drive.

It's the story about a boy who has the ability to see the Death poppets: strange creatures invisible to human eyes who monitor the passing of humans into the next world.

Death poppets hang around the shoulders of soon-to-die humans and once the human's time comes, the scythe on their back will reach forward and slit the throat of the person's spirit, therefore killing their victims. Their mouths are sewn shut for reasons unknown.

But when one boy cuts the strings of his death poppet... his life takes a turn for the dark, dangerous and disturbing.
