Decided to challenge myself and do all the things that scare the crap out of me: dynamic composition, background, splatters, ridiculous color mixing, 'special effects', dulled colors, foreshortening, armor, stark shadows.

Saw the Kingdom Hearts 2:Final Mix+ Secret Video floating around the intranetz. Man.... I thought I was DONE spazzing over Kingdom Hearts. Nomura, you are a tricky bastard...

Yep. Used markers. Its really fun working with them, but it's tough because I dont have that many colors to work with :o so there's always a bazillion shades of colors mixed to get the color I hope for.

Yeah. I mean sure, it looks like Roxas and Xemnas, but you can never trust Squenix to be predictable :3 . They're tricky.

ME. TOO. I love that trailer. I just wanted to hug the soldier (that looked like Roxas) . I hadn't even known it was him (or that it looked like him) until afterwards when I finally saw his face, and I still felt affected by it.
