Takes place in the 'Apprentice Arc,' in which Slade forces Robin to be his apprentice by threatening to set off super-explodey-nanomachines in his friends' BLOOD. .... don'cha know?

Nightwing/Robin and Spiderman are my favorite superheroes. In the comics, they're so damn smart-alecky :DDDD.

Wah hah hah! Well, with wearing a mysterious mask come great responsibilities. Mainly perfect self control. I mean, you have to be able to withstand the need to sneeze, the long hours without eating, not to mention when your nose itches like crazy.
If Robin's learned something from The Bat, he'll notice that it's probable this is the REAL Slade, and not some plot-stretching Robo.
And I think the eye-mask is called a "domino mask".

Great art, Ake. Heck, it's nicer than the cartoon's, even! Great way to use different fonts as a means to carry the comedy!
